Introduced in France by Charles Pierre Marie Cochet-Cochet in 1903 as 'Madame Lucien Villeminot'.

Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Cream - pink.  Salmon-rose.  Very large, semi-double to double, globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 3a through 5b.  Hardy.
