I have Mike's original notes and the correct parentage for Lady Pamela Carol is:
Mrs. Pierre S Dupont x Anson Jones

It took about three years for mine to really establish; but that's not too far above average for own-root plants in my garden. It seems to grow at a very measured pace, growing to three feet in as many years. To its credit, it also seems to have the kind of toughness that sometimes corresponds with slow development. New foliage is bright green which looks cheery against the dark olive foliage. These taken together look good with the pale ivory-yellow flowers it produces. The flowers are a little informal by hybrid tea rose standards, so it's not a rose for the cutting garden. Nor is it anything like as generous with its flowers as a good floribunda rose. Still, the flowers are lovely and fragrant. The plant is nicely branched and well covered with foliage, so it does make for a handsome shrub in or out of bloom.
This is not a very high standard, but I have not seen a trace of fungus on it here in my garden in the mountains of Arizona.
P.S. Thanks you billy teabag and North Houston Roses for your photos.
