The patent for 'White Drift' MEIglise says this rose is single.
The WFRS Rose Hills award for 'White Drift MEIglise in 2016 shows a distinctly double rose.

There is an error on WFRS Website. 'White Drift' in commerce is MEIzorland, not MEIglise. The ARS database makes the same mistake. MEIglise was apparently introduced in 1992 as 'White Drift', but is no longer in commerce. See: History |

The new variety of Shrub rose plant was created by artificial pollination wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) was the product of the cross of Rosa wichuriana (non-patented in the United States) and `The Fairy` variety (non-patented in the United States). The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) was the `Korbin` variety (non-patented in the United States). The `Korbin` variety is marketed under the ICEBERG trademark. The parentage of the new variety can be summarized as follows:
The listed parentage on HMF is wrong. It should be R. wichuriana, not R. absynnica
