Origin:

Bred by Alain Meilland (1940-....) (France, before 1992).
Introduced in United States by Star Roses & Plants (Pennsylvania) in 2007 as 'White Drift'.

Class:

Miniature.

Bloom:

White. Moderate fragrance. up to 6 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Small, ovoid buds.

Habit:

Short, bushy, mounded, spreading. Small, glossy, medium green, dense foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.

Height: 1' to 18" (30 to 45cm). Width: 39" to 4'11" (100 to 150cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, garden, ground cover or landscape. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

Breeder's notes:

This rose is not only beautiful but tough and totally resistant to blackspot and mildew.
