HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

24 AUG 12
Purchased as band from Vintage Sept 2011.

Notes: This plant is extremely thorny and weirdly shaped, as in, the canes tend to grow at right angles rather than straight up (maybe that's just mine, lol). Flowers are velvety red, very lightly scented. Roots easily from cuttings.

April 2013- Is still an oddly shaped gawky plant, but flowers frequently. I've just recently transplanted it into a 10 gallon container, so we'll see if the shape improves. No problems with this one. I like it.

5/24/2014 - Planted in new garden.

11/1/2014- Frequent bloomer, is a little under five feet tall. I've put it at the back of the border where it's awkward growth isn't seen.

4/2016- hasn't gotten any taller, but has become more bushy. About 4 feet wide.

3/21/2018- 6h x 4w. I really enjoy this rose.

4/18/2021- Kuroshinju is planted next to Novalis (Poseiden) in my garden, and has a tendency to lean on that big beast of a rose and grow absurdly tall- to 8ish feet last year. I don't mind though, because it's up above everything else where I can see it and doesn't look bad (to me) mingling with the lavender flowers of Novalis.
