Origin:
Bred by Marcel Robichon (France, before 1954).
Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1954 as 'Dyna'.
Introduced in United States by Ilgenfritz Nursery Inc. in 1955 as 'Bingo'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1957 as 'Bingo'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red, brown shading.  Cardinal-red.  Strong, tea fragrance.  45 to 60 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Very large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright, well-branched.  Large, glossy foliage.  5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
