I am sure it is, even though MACgreli was said to be a floribunda (and MACgremli a HT). I've done a fair bit of reading on the McGredy's and have never heard of MACgreli. We've merged the files but kept MACgreli as a hidden synonym, just in case anything turns up in the future. Thank you Altora.

'Deborah Beggs' and 'Deborah Beggs Moncrief' are worrying me now.
Later edit: Deleted the above two roses out of the MACgremli file. 'Deborah Beggs' is a separate rose.

The patent states,

"SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a new and distinct variety of rose plant of the hybrid tea rose class, which was originated by my crossing as seed parent the variety known as "Macsatur" and as pollen parent the variety known as "Macputar". The varietal denomination of this new rose is "Macgremli"."

I tried getting this rose in the 90s. I was sent the wrong rose. Its too bad because the color looks pretty cool. I think I got Louise Estes by mistake :/
