The Europarosarium in Sangerhausen names Robert, not Vibert, as the breeder of this rose, at least on the label with the plant.

William Paul states in 1848 that this rose was bred 1847 in Angers, which was Vibert's nursery location. Vibert retired 1851 and his nursery passed on to Robert. Sangerhausen seems to follow Jäger, who states Robert 1854; this in turn based on Nietner and Otto, who say Vibert 1854. Jäger probably corrected Vibert to Robert due to this later date. In any case, Paul's reference predates all of this.
