Bred by Giuseppe Manetti (Italy, before 1844). Bred by Luigi Casoretti (Italy, before 1851).
Introduced in France by Modeste Guérin in 1851 as 'Odorata Elisabetta'.
Introduced in France by Jacques Calot in 1867 as 'Jupiter'.
Class:
Hybrid suffruticosa, Tree peony.  
Bloom:
Deep pink to rose-red.  Average diameter 10.5".  Very large, full, bomb bloom form.  Early-to-mid.  
Habit:

Height: up to 28" (up to 70cm).
