I am trying to link to the specific description of a rose. Earlier my windows wanted to open it as a photo but I could just hit cancel, reclick on the link, and get to the specific rose photo. Now I cannot even get to the specific rose or conduct an advanced search. Is this connected to Firefox? I updated my browser about a month ago.

Looks like we have several problems here and we need to address them one by one starting with your sign in
Your initial post lists your guest id as "Torachan" while this post has you as anonymous. That indicates you are not signed in to HMF which should not be the case as once you have signed into HMF it remembers you and you should not need to sign in again.
Did you explicitly sign out ? Are you using a different computer this time ? Do you have "cookies" turn off ? We'll be happy to elaborate if any of these questions are unclear.

Torachan
Dear David: I am Torachan, but the response arrived at my email box and I just clicked the link. I do not have cookies off and I am using the same laptop. The reported problem has to do with using a link within helpmefind, which apparently has a php extension. My research reports that this is a web site language but Windows XP Pro wants to call it a photo or is unable to process it.

What happens when you try to use the advanced search ? Are you able to look up a rose using the standard "Name Search" and does it display properly for you.
