After blooming this summer, I did cut the stems at the right place. Now I have 3 roses, in different places, that are growing stems with seven-leaf-configurations. This seems very peculiar to me. Is it the weather, that was rather wet? I know of 7 leafconfigurations that appear from underneath, but these are in the middle of the older stems. They are not yet blooming, I live in Europe and the roses do have to bloom again. Do I have to cut these stems now or let them come and watch what roses come out and cut them next spring?
