HELLO ALL, IT'S JUST FEB. & I JUST REC'D A POTTED ROSE NAMED LAVENDER LADY. IT ALREADY HAS NEW SHOOTS AND LEAVES ON IT. THERE'S ALSO 8 INCHES OF SNOW ON THE GROUND. WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS ROSE TO KEEP IT ALIVE TILL I CAN PLANT IT??? I CERTAINLY DON'T NEED A ROSE BUSH GROWING IN MY LIVING ROOM. HELP? DO I WATER IT? PUT IN MY SHED? THANK YOU, DOT

Make sure it's moist. Wrap it in newspaper or tuck it into a plastic bag and place it in the darkest coolest spot you can find until planting time. Check it from time to time to make sure it isn't drying out.
