HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

Long Ago Roses July 2023
24 AUG 12
Purchased from Long Ago Roses 2012. First blooms are lightly scented and shatter very quickly- usually within the same day or by the next morning.

July 2013- No real change in size, but it's been in a shady place.

5/24/2014 - Planted in new garden. During high summer it will have afternoon shade.

5/20/2015- size about 2.5 x 2.5 , not bushy, more open. Bloomed well this spring.

2/6/2016- heavy bloomer. I really love this rose. 2.5 h x 4 w.

2/9/2017- My little plant grew quite a bit in the past year, and is now more than 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide. It does not have a dense habit at all, rather it has wide open arms. I have mine in a mixed border, and it does well. Drought tolerant. I don't usually detect any fragrance, nor is there a lot of disease noted.

5/16/2018- This has been a surprisingly vigorous rose for me. I planted it at the front of the border, thinking it would be a small grower. HA! It dwarfs Archduke Charles who is behind it, which makes the bed seem a little awkward, honestly. I wouldn't dare move it and destroy the magic though. Still not bushy in the least bit, which sort of works out, considering. 6h x 4w. As far as I know, this is the original Rainbow, and not Improved Rainbow or Moser House Striped.

7/24/2019- My plant got too tall this year, so I had to give it a light pruning this past May, and it's pretty much still sulking about it. It's really hot right now, so I'm not worried about it.

2/26/2021- Took a very heavy hit in Winter Storm Uri. We got down to about 15 degrees, only about an inch of snow, and stayed below freezing for five days. I lightly scratched a few branches, but no green. :(

6/28/2021- Tried to come back but the heat finished it off. Officially expired. I'm so sad!
