I purchased my Candyland rose - a grafted plant - from a local nursery. It is a beauty. Alas! She is almost always the first one to get black spot (which spreads the disease to neighboring roses). I almost quashed it this summer. It is, however, time for this rose to make a (clean) departure from our garden.
