Does anyone have a source for this rose on its own roots?

Chamblees nursery carries it own root, however they are not shipping until 9/07. You can place your order, though.

Please do not buy from Chamblee's, the new ownership is defrauding customers. There has been a lot of talk about this on HMF this season.

It is also available from Roses Unlimited Own Root. All of their roses are own-root. www.rosesunlimitedownroot.com
I have ordered from RU several times. Their roses are huge and hardy. They sell roses in 1 gallon size. I have been very pleased with RU's quality of roses and customer service.

We had a tough winter here in Spokane, WA. We have nearly 100 roses, many of which died back to the ground, or very close. Indigo was the only rose which survived untouched. We're looking forward to the blooms.
Update: Spokane is a zone 5b,
Update 6/16/13: We dug it up and moved it last year, in Aug. I think. From a part shade to a full sun spot. Trimmed the canes and everything. This spring it started doing it's thing, hardly missing a beat, and has lots of blooms right now. About the only thing it seems to do during our winters is nap, scoffing at the cold. Then it wakes up and gets back to work.

Hello,
I live in Seattle. Your review of the Indigo rose has definitely helped me in making my decision to purchase this rose.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It really helps novices like me in selection of roses that will thrive in our 8a climate zone.
Best regards, Reem
