The Rose Annual, 1981, p. 114: The Giacomasso roses were highly considered for their vigorous growth, for the abundant shiny leaves, for the large, scented flowers. The firm favoured the large flowered type; in fact, in thirty years dedicated to rose hybridization, they raised only HT and HP varieties but no Polyanthas.
