Discovered by Robert Fortune (United Kingdom, 1860).
Introduced in Belgium by L. Jacob-Makoy et Cie in 1864 as 'C. fortunei'.
Class:
Early Large Flowered.  
Bloom:
Light green, light yellow stamens, ages to light pink .  Average diameter 5".  Medium, double bloom form.  Late spring to midsummer.  
Habit:

Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.
