HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

"The name was taken from an old Scottish hymn ... " Can't say I'm full bottle on old Scottish hymns, but I thought those words were from a poem by Eleanor Farjeon.

My youth too, but the words were by Eleanor Farjeon! Wikipedia says written in 1931 and set to an old Scottish tune for use as a hymn.

Please disregard my comment on the "vigor" of this rose. The plant I received from RU turned out to be Madame Plantier which can quickly reach 8X8 or more. No wonder I didn't get any bloom the first season, as albas bloom on old wood. Needless to say, I needed to move Mme. to give her more space.

This rose takes awhile to get going. Mine is own root, and remained tiny for the first year, then started blooming in huge sprays, after thowing out tons of new growth. Disease resistance is way above average, and probably could be grown no spray in much of the country. (I do spray however, as I live in Fl.) Fragrance is light but definite. I'd love to get more, except Heirloom roses is not carrying MHB currently.

I got Morning Has Broken from Roses Unlimited. Started it in a pot and it just sat there. Once in the ground it took off and formed a mounding shrub about 6'across; lots of new shoots are reaching skyward to a level of about 4'. No blooms yet but the growing season's not over here yet! I'm very impressed with the health and vigor of this rose.
