Bloom:
Dark red, darker outer petals. Intense deep red, developing to black.. None to mild fragrance. Full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, fluted petals, formal bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Bushy, compact, rounded. Medium, matte, medium green foliage.
Height: 47" (120cm). Width: 47" (120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Very hardy. heat tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

The resultant seeds were harvested and sown in Jan 1998 ....In 1999 plant number was multiplied to 99, and so forth until numbers sufficient for commercial release in 2005 in France. Observations made over this period showed that ‘Delchifrou’ was genetically stable. No offtypes detected in May 1992.
