Class:

Floribunda, Shrub. (Series: County Series Collection, Vigorosa® Collection)

Bloom:

Carmine-red. Raspberry red. None / no fragrance. Average diameter 1.25". Small, very double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Short, bushy, spreading. Small, glossy, dark green foliage.

Height: 20" (50cm). Width: 2' (60cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, garden, ground cover or landscape. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant., very mildew resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Tim Clapp of Mattocks Roses says he has "a couple of roses that are simply colour in a can. Easy to grow and ideal for brightening up any border Roses 'Lancashire' and 'Cheshire' make wonderful displays on their own. Easy to grow, they are ideal for beginners and are probably some of the most disease resistant varieties on the market."

Well suitable for private gardens and public green, every gardener will be delighted by this novelty.
This variety has been decorated with awards (Gold- and Silver Medal) in international rose competitions.
