As per Steve Singer, hybridizer and owner of Wisconsin Roses, Olivia Rose was named to honor the memory of Olivia Rose Engel, a girl whose life was taken in the Sandy Hook Elementary school tragedy on 12-14-2012. She loved purple and pink. The rose is a cross of Madame Violet X Heather Sproul. See wiroses.com	REPLY
