The first shoots on my newly planted bush were blind probably from drying out in the pot and it has taken 2 months to get the first flower. It's a nice clean-looking white with good petal substance and a nice scent which reminds me of Ophelia.

Potted a bare root plant of 'Dame Joan Sutherland' into an old terracotta pot that a neighbour gave me, 29th September 2024. It's not supposed to be a big bush so I thought I'd see how it goes in a pot. I'm hoping the colour of the flowers will look good against the terracotta.
