This plant actually grows better than Lilac Charm. LC has been a poor plant for me. Lila grows like it's scared of life, but that's still better than LC. I think this rose has a strangely high potential for hybridizing. I can imagine a lot of interesting things coming from crosses involving rugosas. It could add a very interesting flower shape when crossed with a simgle flower and I can see very amazing things coming from crossing it with the messy flowers of Hansa or Moje Hammarberg. The mauve potential could be really impressive.
