Origin:

Bred by George Mander (Canada, 1993).

Class:

Floribunda.

Bloom:

Red blend, white center, white reverse. Mild fragrance. 5 petals. Medium, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.

Habit:

Bushy, spreading. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.

Height: 28" to 35" (70 to 90cm). Width: 15" to 20" (40 to 50cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 5b and warmer. Very hardy. very vigorous. flowers drop off cleanly. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

Breeder's notes:

Report of Brad Jalbert, the owner of the local Miniature Nursery, “Select Roses” :
Clusters of wonderful “Wild Rose” looking flower. Foliage : Dark green, glossy and healthy.
Comments : Another wonderful landscape rose for any garden. This one was hybridized by my friend George Mander of Coquitlam, B.C. It is one of the toughest roses and very easy to grow. The flowers are born in waves all summer long and can even be used as a cut flower. Highly recommended as a low maintenance landscape shrub for mixed beds or hedges.

GEORGE MANDER's comments :
Disease resistance is excellent, have never seen mildew nor blackspot on my plants in years. Will go for months without spraying. Growth habit : Vigorous and bushy. Great for mass planting.
