Website/Catalog (1929) Page(s) 47. Hardy Climbing Roses Ben Stad. Hybrid Wichuraiana. (F. R. M. Undritz, 1926.) Medium-sized, ovoid buds and informal, cupped flowers of creamy white, flushed with flesh-pink on the back and illumined by large golden centers, fragrant and lasting, borne in sprays on long, strong stems. Plant is very vigorous, of climbing habit, and blooms profusely for three to four weeks. Foliage dark green, glossy, and resistant to disease. It is a cross between Silver Moon and Mme. Jules Grolez, and one of the most charming climbers introduced in recent years. $1.50 each.
