I purchased this rose a year ago and in my mind it was the perfect rose - the blossom had an English form, the plant was disease free, the bush was well clothed in glossy green leaves, blooms came in regular flushes, and the rose had a good vase life. There was very little winter dieback in my zone 5b garden and lots of new growth appeared in the early spring. In our climate in Lincoln, Ne spring starts early with occasional late freezes and yes, the plant did die. I haven't decided yet whether to replant or not. The website recommends protecting from spring frosts, I would certainly second that.
