Bloom:
Light yellow, yellow highlights, ages to cream . Moderate, sweet fragrance. 20 to 40 petals. Average diameter 2.25". Medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, in large clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Tall, climbing. Small, glossy, dense foliage.
Height: 6'7" to 16'5" (200 to 500cm). Width: up to 10' (up to 305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b. Can be used for cut flower, hedge, pillar or shrub. Very vigorous. prefers dry climates.

Alister Stella Gray (February 1, 1877 East Ferry, Dunkeld, Scotland - May 1, 1957), only son of the breeder and Marcella Kerr (November 22, 1847 Orange Valley, Jamaica - February 5, 1877 East Ferry, Dunkeld, Scotland). His parents married May 2, 1867 in St Pauls' Church, Edinburgh. His mother died 4 days after Alister Stella's birth.
