It's a wonderful colour in the shade. I can't see any prickles on any of your plants. Is it completely thornless?
Is the rose from Noelene the same as the Mistydown one in the flesh? Comparing the photos, the leaves seem to be different.

I am pretty sure they are the same Billy., but I was querying them myself in 2010.
The shaded one certainly has prickles on the older stems.
The shaded one produces flatter leaves, while the sunny one produces more-or-less taco-shaped leaves. However I take your point - they need watching.
