I completely agree. Have a look at the last two photographs for Preziosa. The exact same photograph but completely different treatment by the two printers. I think the time is coming for the provision for guidelines on the uploading of photographs on HMF.

This is the same picture that was printed in our catalog in the 60's, I guess the paper was old and/or the scan wasn't calibrated right ;)
Jedmar posted "From the 1967-1968 Pajotin-Chédane catalogue Courtesy of the Archives of the Roseraie du Val de Marne" the same picture and well scanned.
