Conquistador is a dark scarlet climber with 'Kordesii' parentage. Both your picture and your description are incorrect. On the basis of what research, knowledge or experience was this cv listed by HMF?

It seems that there are several roses named 'Conquistador'. Our listing is based on a plant at the Roseto Carla Fineschi collection, referenced in "Modern Roses". The photo of David Elliot shows a shrub 'Conquistador' by Dorieux, which seems to have been awarded a Silver Medal at Madrid in 1985.
