For other people that don't know of the miraculous landing of the plane on the Hudson, (as I think this rose is named after, or am I wrong?) it would be nice to explain the name in the description. Robert.

Jay- Jay, you are correct. The name was chosen by Pat Henry of Roses Unlimited.
I'll add some historical information for those who don't recognize the connection.
Btw, propagation materials for this cultivar were sent to Bierkreek earlier this year for testing.
Thanks, Robert

Robert, BTW is in Holland a kind of tax when you buy something or a service. But I'll ask Hans (Bierkreek) how Your babies behave in our climate! This rose has a beautifull red colour as I can see from Your pictures. But digital photocamera's in common are not so good in capturing the real natural red colour of roses!

Jay-Jay, you are correct.
My camera has a difficult time capturing the color correctly.
This photo in particular seems to come closest to representing it best.
This cultivar went to Hans under it's code name, RNRLGHR1.
Are you speaking about the value added tax?
I was in Holland several years ago and visited Keukenhof.
It was beautiful!
Thanks, Robert
