Notes:
The rose in gardens and commerce is not the original, except probably the rose at the Arboretum Borova Hora in Slovakia. The current rose is possibly the climbing sport of a Polyantha.
Rogers Roses has a photo of Gräfin Marie Henriette Chotek described as “A hybrid Rosa multiflora Rambler introduced by Lambert in 1911. Mid red flowers, double with a moderate scent. Photographed at the Sangerhausen Rosarium Germany.” This photo cannot be the correct rose. David Elliott
