'Da Hua Yue Yue Hong' ("Monthly red China with large flowers") This rose was collected in Sichuan. The petal color is crimson or bright pink like some hibiscus, and the flowers, which are 4 inches (10 centimeters) in diameter, and leaves are larger than those of 'Xiao Ye Yue Yue Hong' ("Small-leaved monthly red China"). The strong, smaller stems lack glandular hairs.
