hello HMF,
Using the same picture doesn't mean it is the same variety. Couple of example :
1) A close up picture of Baipeace can be use for Baipeacesar (climbing mutation, but flower is similare)
2) Another was the mistake by Barni of using the picture of ARTHUR RIMBAUD® Meihylvol for their variety 'Serenata' (no varietal name).
But I confirm that Meicatess is now sold in US by Menagerie Farm & Flower under the trademark 'Loves Me, Loves Me Not™'

'Meicatess' is listed in the details section on Menagerie Farm & Flower Loves Me, Loves Me Not™ page. I should have included that information earlier. Sorry about that. For some reason, HMF will not allow me to add a direct link to that webpage.

Thanks TaysDragon. I hadn’t opened the ‘details’ section- should have looked harder.

Oh no! I have one coming and get some fog/mist where I am in the evenings (East Bay hills) so I’ll definitely watch out for that. Thank you for the heads-up.

Some roses also get rust from chronic growth output with limited to no water intake. I have seen high output roses get it while young, and then never again once they have massive root systems established. Its sometimes hard to tell which roses only suffer during its maturation arc vs roses that are universally susceptible..

"The parentage was published as 'Rouge Meilland' x 'Petit Trianon' (see Member comments). However, the US plant patent states a more complex parentage."
When I look at Petit Trianon, I see what could be DELge phenotype traits. Its plausible that it is the Golden Unicorn x DELge female parent to 'Loves Me, Loves Me Not', and a clerical error was made in the first publishing. We will likely never know, but that's my theory anyway.
