This rose rather reminds me of the old illustrations and photos of 'Mme. Abel Chatenay".

Thanks HubertG. I will add some botanical details to this new file in the coming week.
At this stage I am favouring ‘Lady Alice Stanley’.

I have now discounted ‘Lady Alice Stanley’ (for reasons on the main page) and am returning to ‘Mme. Abel Chatenay’, but there are others to now wade through.
