Breeder Strelets Viktor Dmitrievich (Vitamin VNIVI x form No. 1-6-3). The bush is medium-sized, medium-spreading. Shoots are thick, curved, with a hanging top, brownish, shiny. The prickles on the shoots are located along the entire length, short, thick, perpendicular to the shoot. Leaves are medium, green. The foliage is glabrous, shiny, leathery, straight. The denticles are sharp, short. The leaf consists of 5-9 leaflets. The flowers are medium, pink in color. The ovary is glabrous, conical, without edges. Hips with an average weight of 2.2 g, orange color, sweet and sour taste, no aroma, refreshing. Tasting assessment of fresh produce - 4.0, compote - 4.5, jam - 4.7, dry products - 5 points. Average yield for 1991-1994 amounted to 3500 kg/ha. Resistant to low temperatures, not affected by diseases and not damaged by pests.

Rosehip 'Finger' is the result of crossing the variety 'Vitaminny VNIVI' and the form '1–6–3' of Wrinkled Rosehip. Received in the Moscow region. Author - V.D. Strelets. The variety was accepted for state testing in 1995. Included in the state register in 1995 for the West Siberian region (Novosibirsk region).

‘Finger’. Comes from crossing ‘Vitamin VNIVI’ with form 1‑6‑3, i.e. is an the result of hybridization of three species (Rosa majalis × Rosa webbiana) × Rosa rugosa.
