Rosehip 'Vitamin VNIVI' is the result of crossing the varieties 'Cinnamon Rose' and 'Webb Rose'. Received at the All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. Authors: A.I. Kalanova, E.M. Stepanova, M.I. Rozhkov, G.I. Shibrya. The variety was accepted for state testing in 1966. Included in the state register in 1974 for the Volgo-Vyatka (Republic of Mari-El) and Ural (Chelyabinsk region) regions.

Rosehip variety Vitaminniy VNIVI. Early middle term. Winter hardiness is above average. Relatively resistant to disease. Average yield (up to 2.5 kg per bush). Universal. The bush is spreading, raised, erect. There are no prickles in the fruiting zone. The hips are large, 2.5-4 g, rounded oval, in clusters of 3-5 pieces per brush. The peel is orange-red, of medium thickness, without pubescence. The taste is sweet and sour. Hips contain 3200-4200 mg% vitamin C. On state variety testing since 1966. Included in the state register in 1974 for the Volga-Vyatka and Ural regions.

'Vitamin VNIVI '. Hybrid Rosa majalis × Rosa webbiana. Fruits are spherical-elliptical, weighing 2.5-4 g.
