Website/Catalog (28 Jul 2016) Includes photo(s). Rosehip variety Vorontsovskiyy 1. The variety was created at the All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. The variety is obtained by crossing Webb's Rose and Rosa rugosa. It is represented by a vigorous bush with a growth height of up to 2.5 m. Shoots are practically without thorns, only their lower part is covered with them. The leaves are dark green. Fruits are oval-elongated, ripen in August. 100 g of fruit contains 3000 mg of vitamin C, 960 mg of vitamin P, 0.5 mg of folic acid. Productivity is 2-3.5 kg of fruits from one bush. This rosehip variety is a good pollinator for the Vitaminny VNIVI variety.
