p. 44: Le Concours International île Roses Nouvelles avait été fixé au 12 Juin. Malheureusement, le retard de la floraison dû au mauvais temps qui sévit depuis le début de l'année ne permit au Jury de noter qu'une douzaine; de Roses sur les 60 au concours. Une seconde réunion du Jury lut donc décidée le 22 Juin.... Certificat no 1 à la rose américaine non nommée numérotée - 50 xx-2-1, parfumée, bien pleine, de couleur d'ensemble jaune, mais virant de l'ocre jaune foncé au jaune pâle liseré de carmin, obtenue par Howard et Smith, et provenant du croisement de la Rose Pearl Harbor par une variété inédite x 684
