Does anyone know how this does in zone 9B where we get Summer temps. eighty degrees and above? Do the petals burn?

I've decided that I dislike this rose, despite that it can be reliably aesthetic. But, to me, it is basically a blush pink, upright version of Peace, with those strong stems, giving it the lollipop on a stick look. Some people love this, but I do not, especially when black spot is present. Also, the blooms are not very rain or heat resistant, also like Peace.

It's virtues are that it blooms reliably, has reliable color, and has excellent vigor.

However, like I said, I am moving away from HT/GR's that are giant stems with giant blooms, because they look atrocious in the landscape. An HT like Royal Philharmonic, Sunset Celebration, Grande Amore, and Savoy Hotel, among many others, fit the modern bill much more consistently. Doesn't really detract from the home and garden, and many of them have better lasting power. Even larger ones that are very full and branching, like Renaissance, look good in the landscape. And for heat lovers, even St. Patrick and Moonstone are not always giant sticks with giant blooms, although they do border on being so.

Hey! Some comments about Bride's Dream. This plant has been at the top of my list for the past ten years. Every bud and bloom, elegantly placed at the top of each long stem! Also, a powerhouse! Last week over a dozen blooms finished and right behind, as of today, I count seventeen (17) buds and blooms. What a great plant for the home garden! Every bud and bloom perfect!
