Thick massive canes and a rather small blossom on a weak neck. Healthy and vigorous here, just not a very attractive bush. A weak neck at times is particularly unattractive, because it gives an impression of the wilted blooms on a bush (especially in a contrast with the strong canes).

Also, it has an abundance of big thorns. If you gave it to someone as a gift, you could safely say that you give "thorns with a rose" rather than "a rose with thorns". :)
