Breeder's notes:
I was contacted by a friend of the family of little Zion Rose. She had just been diagnosed with MLD (a terminal brain disease) which was devastating and heartbreaking for the family. Knowing this was incurable, the friend, Leah Johnson, sought a way to immortalize her memory. After researching the process for naming a rose, she got in contact with me. Of course after hearing about Zion, I started looking for a rose that would fit the request. The family was interested in a yellow rose and were pleased that the seedling P133-2 was available. Zion passed away in November of 2015.
