Novelty Roses 1949. Mabel Francis HT. (Bees, 1943). Shapely full fragrant flowers of clear rose pink produced on plants of good growth and habit. The blooms carry 50 petals, while the colour suggests The Doctor. Very thorny growth. (Leading Lady x Southport) 5/- each.

Some other new roses of the last two years worthy of trial are Mabel Francis, a self colour pink, the Dame Edith Helen shade. It has a large, well formed flower, and is a good grower. I have had it for two years and am very pleased with it.
