Introduced in United Kingdom by William Paul & Son in 1878 as 'May Quennell'.
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'May Quennell'.

Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Crimson, fuchsia / magenta outer petals.  Strong fragrance.  Large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
