Variety 'Pionerka' is a hybrid between 'Krymskaya Krasnaya' and the pink Kazanlik rose. The bush is 90-100 cm tall. The crown is broad, upright, brownish red. Prickles are small and medium, ....pink and grey. The foliage is dark green, but lighter than of the variety 'Novinka'. The blooms are large, 24-28 petals, pink, darker than the petals of the varieties 'Novinka' and 'Kooperatorka'. The fruits are ....orange-red. Hardy and drought resistant. Prune the bush annually. The first industrial palnting started in 1954.
Medium size bush with a spreading crown of 1,5 m. The shoots of the first year are light green, the second year yellowish green, ....dotted with sparse...medium-sized prickles. Foliage is ....medium size, dark green. Blooms are pink, darker than 'Novinka', collected in dense terminal clusters of 7-11 and more. 24-28 petals, ovoid buds with a highly pointed top. Fruits are orange-red....

As a result of breeding activities in Simferopol in Crimea, Maitschenko has obtained several sorts: 'Nowinka', 'Kooperatorka', 'Pionerka'. These sorts have been introduced into production. The basic range consists of following roses: R. gallica f. rubra and the sorts 'Nowinka', 'Kooperatorka', 'Pionerka', which are little distributed.
