Discovered by Boulanger et Desponds (France, 1846).
Class:
Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Violet, dark red shading, white stripes.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), expanded , flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Glandular sepals, rounded buds.  
Habit:
Matte, light green foliage.  5 leaflets.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
