Book (1940) Page(s) 66. R. Marion Hatton. New Roses in America From Holland, Sequoia and Sunny Days, the former from J. Verschuren-Pechtold and the latter from H. A. Verschuren, will probably be listed for a year or two before disappearing. Sequoia's blooms were of fair size with 40 petals, the colour apricot at first but ending flesh. I noted a fruity fragrance and poor foliage.
