'12 Westerland OP 14' rose Description

Bloom:
Deep red aging to bright red, often the same vibrant orangy color as Salita.. Mild to strong, citrus, damask, fruity, old rose fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium-large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, long buds.
Habit:
Tall, arching, armed with thorns / prickles, climbing, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: up to 8' (up to 245cm). Width: up to 6' (up to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Hardy. vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. can be trained as a climber. rain tolerant. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, very rust resistant. Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
