'The Albrighton Rambler' rose Reviews & Comments

Hi, I bought this gorgeous rose on a whim today, but I am wondering if it’ll do well in my hot and dry zone 10b? I live between Fullerton, La Habra, and Buena Park. I was planning on planting on the north side of my house where it will face South ( Full heat all day.) Any thoughts? Should I exchanged it for something else instead? Thank you! -Karla

The blooms are very pretty in form and color but no do drop cleanly from the plant (they dry completely, turn brown and won't fall off unless a strong wind comes by). Its growth so far hasn't been as fast as other ramblers, in my experience, but we're entering year three and I'm hoping it'll have a growth spurt. If it doesn't I might consider removing it.
