p59 Nola Simpson. The NZRBA awards a Certificate of Achievement to any amateur bred rose which reaches a minimum standard of 65 points. This award is to encourage amateur breeders who often find it hard footing it with the professionals. This year we had one recipient, 'Audacity' ['Sylvia' x 'National Trust'] bred by Vic. Hughes, Palmerston North. This rose is a very attractive HT type floribunda, the flowers are classically shaped, carmine and silver in colour, borne on strong healthy bushes. Very free flowering.
